Before the Storm

Before the Storm shines and shimmers in the light and change hue depending on the light. They are highly reflective and bring light and colour to your home. 

Textured base layers of paste and sand create the foundation, while alcohol inks are blown across the surface forming organic shapes, cellular patterns and delicate lacing. Mica powders add luminosity, and in the coastal pieces, white resin is used to evoke sea foam washing ashore. Every artwork is finished with a clear resin top coat, sealing and protecting the layers beneath while enhancing their depth and movement.
